Vaccination Update The Town of West Springfield i Vaccination Update

The Town of West Springfield is partnering with many area cities and towns to open a COVID 19 Vaccination Clinic at the Big E starting on April 20th. Appointments are required for this vaccine site and you will not be allowed on the grounds without an appointment. Please visit www.townofwestspringfield.org/vaccine to make appointments. Appointments will be released on Wednesdays and Fridays on the Town Website.

If you need assistance making an appointment please call the West Springfield Senior Center at 413-263-3264 or call the State’s hotline at 211. This site will be administering the Moderna vaccine which is available for persons 18 years of age and older. For questions please email COVID@tows.org or call the Mayor's Office at 413-263-3041. Thank you and we encourage you to check the website periodically for appointments.

CLEAN UP WEST SPRINGFIELD DAY 2021Volunteers wanted. Individuals, families and business/civic groups. Clean Up West Springfield Day, the annual event where volunteers clear litter and bulk from town public areas, will be held Saturday, April 24th, 9am, with a drive through check-in at the parking lot across from Town Hall, 26 Central Street, aka: M.O.B. lot. Gloves (limited supply), trash bags and safety vests will be provided to volunteers or bring your own. This event is suitable for all ages, parents use discretion with youth participants. Volunteers can assign themselves to a site of their choosing or be assigned a site. What volunteers collect will be stockpiled at centralized locations for DPW pick-up. This is the event's 11th season, has helped remove several tons of debris from public areas and is hosted by the West Springfield Environmental Committee, an ad-hoc civic group, alongside the Town of West Springfield. Registration is required and volunteers working roadside are asked to wear a safety vest. All participants who pre-register and check-in, in person, including youth with parents, April 24th will receive a free raffle ticket to win a $20 gift card to one of the following nine town businesses: Calabrese Market, Cumberland Farms, Donut Dip, Butcher Shoppe, Dick's Sporting Goods, Bella Napoli pizza, Bella Napoli Restaurant, Big Y Supermarket, Classic Burger.
